Discover the vibrant spirit of Horsley at the Culture and Community Unwrapped Festival! Immerse yourself in the artistic legacy of our village, nestled in the Stroud Valleys.

For over five decades, Horsley has been a haven for artists and makers spanning various disciplines – painters, filmmakers, writers, musicians, and more.

Join us in celebrating the rich cultural tapestry of Horsley, where established and emerging talents, many rooted in our village, showcase their creativity. Explore our cultural heritage through archival materials, recognizing the influence of Ruskin Mill College and Blackberry Hill. Horsley’s commitment to nature shines through workshops, outdoor activities, storytelling, and presentations focused on sustainability and biodiversity.

Grounded in our natural environment, Horsley residents actively engage in climate initiatives, community orchards, and sustainable practices. The February festival radiates the warmth of community connection, welcoming a new year filled with light.

Horsley Festival is for everyone, brought to life by passionate residents and (mostly) for free. As a non-profit venture, it’s our gift to you, with any surplus reinvested for future community events. The grand finale brings us all together with a ‘bring-and-share’ lunch and a village concert, creating memories that resonate long after the festival lights dim. Join us in unwrapping the culture and community of Horsley!
