About Horsley Nature

‘Horsley Nature’  is a small but growing band of (mainly) Horsleyites who have a love for nature, and are ready to protect and enhance our beautiful environment around the parish of Horsley.  To this end, ‘Horsley Nature’, together with Horsley Parish Council, has produced and published a Nature Action Plan designed to help us conserve this rich natural heritage.

Our first project is to run this nature ‘day’ inviting local naturalists, artists, campaigners and ecologists to contribute their knowledge to what we hope will be an interactive and fun day on the Sunday, but not forgetting a late evening bat walk the day before.

We hope you will come and enjoy the day, all ages are welcomed, although some activities are not suitable for very small children and other children must be accompanied by an adult.

We encourage walking or cycling to the event being held at St Martin’s church and grounds, but if you need to park a vehicle please use the village hall car park, and if full, there will be an overflow in the playing fields.
